Reading Documents In Your Ipod

Some of you might know how to do this already, but I just learnt today.

Bumping thru the internet. I found out that so easily that you can read your documents just by simply change your files from doc. to txt. and transfer it to your Ipod notes.

1) find some articles you might want to read on the road or something.

2) save as..save the files in txt. form.

3) transfer it to your any versions of Ipod but not shuffle, MJ yours cannot! Make your you “checked” for “Enable Disk use”

4) there you go, read wherever whenever you like.

Improve your FM transmitter qualities.

Nice hack…I’ve been thinking of how to make the FM transmitter more reliable and consistent.

For those of you who are not using Ipod or MP3 player played over your radio in your car, this is irrelevant to you but if you are curious how to make your FM transmitter more reliable then you have to read this.

I’ve been thinking how to improve the quality of my FM transmitter. I always have difficulty to listen to my Ipod’s songs while driving, every 10KM or so I need to change to another frequency.

I bumped into this site which this guy Donn Morrison(thread starter) share his hack on the stereo systems, the hack was rather complicated for not so DIY personality like me.

Luckily there is another member imajoebob @ 2007.08.24.21:38 who suggested another Hack which is equally improve the quality of the Ipod played over the frequency. He used the switch connected(DIY also) to the antenna since the disturbance originated from the frequency. The switch can be switch to receive signal from the outside.

Still the suggestion is abit too complicated, if only I have the player which can play tape. It would be much easier and no interruption of signal.

I got my 80Gb!!

Finally..I got myself a new(but used) 80GB IPOD for RM740, the item is 3 months old. That means I bought a relative new used item..

Now, I’ve few things I want to do with my 80GB Ipod video.

1) Find a mic which I’m waiting to transac in this few days so that I could record anything interesting in my daily life.

2) Start podcasting(Yeng ler) after I got a mic, nothing better to do except try some new stuffs. Friends always laugh when I mentioned certain words(Deep, Inside, play,etc,etc) , I’m not sure whether is me or them but I wil show you in the future.

3) I knew that we could use Ipod for Power point presentation, now that is cool, while everyone is using a bulky laptop, you just bring your Ipod into the room and plug into the OHP…Tada!! Present it like a Pro.

4) Listen to all the crap music that I never heard before, cause I have so much storage space.

5) Downloads lots of Movies and Dramas so that MY Ipod can be like AOD.

6) Oh not to forget to get myself a FM transmitter.

7) Audio books on NL…I need that to sharpen my soft skills..
