Not CJ 7 but Chief Judge,

Was quite nervous at 1st after volunteering as a CJ due to unknown.

Was quite stress over the unfilled judges seats, calling over 100people to look for just 5 judges. Unfortunately no one is available on that day which is today 280808.

I was calling, texting and emailing to all TM that I encounter…I try to search for those that are minimal contact with that club cause I knew that it is hard to judge due to bias and pre-conception..

For so long that I try and get judges, I was nervous as the day nearer and the judges are only 3 instead of 5..It would be unfair to the contestant if I could not find 5 TM out of so many TM. It is unfair to me as it will reflect bad on me..But don’t worry, last minutes I able to fill in all the 5 judges.

To be fair, the day wasn’t a good day as most of the TM are engaged in one thing or another. as far as I know, there are over 6 activities or contest going in DIV W, P and C.

Luckily I able to secured 5 instead of 3 judges, cause it is a tough decision to be make over the contestant at DU Advanced TMC contest.

As a CJ, nothing much of a excitement only a bit of curiousity cause I now can give the result to the contest chair instead of waiting for the result to be given by the CJ.

well at last, I think I’ve done a good job as a CJ for a first timer…I’m not a virgin anymore..YEAH!!!

To be a CJ is easy but to find quality judges is hard. Nevertheless, I’ve try my best…

One scary experience for me.

15/10/2007. 8.30PM.

The background was the ROLAND music fair banner. 10 polices were on stage covering and securing the stage, some were scattered in the mall. Security guards were blowing whistle demanding the crowds not to stand near the railings of every floors to watch.

Sungei Wang lower foyer, performance stage. One women lied on the ground, with bloods stain besides her head.

The scene was stunning, the image is vivid. I never seen a dead body in my life. When I saw it from 1 level going down the elevator, I was stunned and speechless. It never came to me as somebody died, only after I saw the police were covering the body with a black plastic bag.

My heart beat was going very fast once I saw the police were covering the body. So to be safe, I walked to the 7-11 at the Ground floor to buy a Nescafe can drink to comfort my fasten heart beat.

“what happened to the women?” I asked the store keeper. “Tak sure la, I dengar got someone dropped. Kepala jatuh dulu.”

HOLY Shit!! The images starts running thru my mind. The polices were securing the scene and a dead women wearing the a blue jeans and a dark blue collar tee with her face facing down.

With slow motion it repeats of how the police were covering the plastic bag over the women. With all the whistles blowing asking the crowd not to look at it.

But strange enough, I did not see any reporters there taking pictures or anything. Why aren’t there any reporters ler? I wonder, when all the police were there, crowd were there and the missing puzzle of the whole pictures was that the reporters were not there, hopefully Sg Wang’s management did not intend to cover it up but the reporters just arrived late.

My DBKL trip.

Our PM had urged all the garment workers to give their best and be efficient on their work.

Cut away the procedure so the world will be a better place.
                                                                   

I went to DBKL office today.

Have you been to DBKL office tower before? If you are citizen of the KL city, you should visit the place. I think we can put that office into our tourist attraction.  The facilities there is marvelously beautifully amazing. All the modern design and the waiting seats in the lobby are just stunning. No joke!! Even more stunning than the “Four Seasons” hotel.

I was thinking, wow new experience to DBKL. I was so delighted “I think KL is getting better”.

My moments of “proud” lasted for just 1 minute right before I asked the officer for my area informations. “Do you have ‘Cheras’ map? I want to know more about ‘Cheras’ if you have the Populations and research on cheras would be perfect.”

“nope!” The officer replied. 

After few questions exchanged, he directed me to see an officer at level 5(so called Public Relations Office).

Isnin    :”nope, we afraid that information might put into the wrong hand(s), if you want you can write in your request letter.”  “but I’m not sure how long you need to wait for the reply and I’m not sure whether they will approve or not”

E         :”I’m a resident of Cheras and I would like to know more about my community, isn’t it our responsibility to know more about our community? I just need the Cheras Map will do.”

Isnin    :“why you need a Cheras map?”

E         :”for my knowledge?”

Isnin    :“Oh, you will still have to write in saying that you are doing a research on Cheras.”

E         :”…..”

Wasted tax payer money...we are living in a city that governs by putting residents last to satisfy. Without any knowledge what so ever happen in our neighborhood, I’m sick of seeing my roads changed without notices, I need to know!! I don’t even know what is it for our future KL plans..I just want my Cheras information!!

All they have in their website is just irrelevant for a curious resident who only wants to know more about his community. Not even a KL map, the best ever publish is the KL Plan for 2020 which is without anything really useful. Its just another big thick book that the best use is to hit the road bully or the snatcher.(don’t throw at the dog, it will kill them)

I did it again, I complained again(I sent my surat aduan to DBKL).  Now, who said chinese not patriotic, is just different ways of expressing. We want it to be done in a efficient and effective way.

I’m patriotic but I have no knowledge about Malaysia only, all I know is the independence date August 31st 1957, with few “tokoh”.

But how much do you know about Malaysia? how much you know about your community?

If you don’t know about your country, who to blame? who is keeping the information?

I consider myself as a sarcastic, cheerful, outgoing, sporting, party animal to a certain extend, optimistic.

What I like? I like to read. Not porn magazine, just download it bittorent. I like to read Mag, all kinds of mags, from Economist to FHM but not Carworld or superbike.

When guys are knowledgeable, he attracts alot of attention by just being intelligent, but also need to read some funny, witty stuff, so that you could use it for small talk.

Small talk is one area I need to improve on, I find it difficult to have small talk with the guys, with guys the 3 main topics are money, women, football. I don’t have much money now, so, leave that alone. I don’t watch football games, so, I will just tilt to the left and right when the guys are talking about footballs stuff. Just imagine what you going to do when you are crossing the roads.

There left only 1 topic to connect me and the guys, WOMEN. Maybe because I hang out more with them so that makes me have more women’s stuff to talk about. From head to toe, I knew abit or 2 about them.
